MEET OUR RESOURCES COMMITTEE

David Pryce – Vice Chair of Governors and Chair of Resources Committee - Parent Governor

Born and raised in Broadbottom, I spread my wings for 15 years before returning to settle in Charlesworth. This is where I now live with my wife and three young children making them the 5th generation of Pryces to live in Charlesworth and giving me a passion to ensure that the school keeps delivering for the community.

Being a local small business owner, I feel using the experience and knowledge I have gained will help me to achieve this. I joined the Governing body in 2018 and having all three of my children now at the school has made me more determined to help it succeed.

Philip Whiston – Headteacher

I have been the headteacher of Charlesworth VC Primary School since my appointment in November 2020. This is my second headship, having being the Head of a primary school in East Cheshire for five years previously.
