​Our school menu

​

Our school meals are freshly prepared by the Derbyshire Catering Service at an off-site kitchen and delivered to school hot and ready to serve.

​

The main meal option is usually a meat or fish dish, with a vegetarian or vegan alternative available for children who require it. A fresh salad bar is available every day for all pupils.

​

For dessert, children can choose from up to three options, and a selection of drinks is always available.

​

Our menu is updated every six months, and we enjoy a variety of themed food days throughout the school year.

Payment

 

All infants receive free school lunches, regardless of their circumstances.

 

Junior students wishing to have school lunches will need to pay £3.25 per day, which can be done through Parentmail.

​

Please contact the school office if you'd like your child to have a school meal .

Free School Meals

​

From September 2026, the eligibility criteria for Free School Meals have changing to help more families. Under the new rules, all families receiving Universal Credit will be eligible for Free School Meals.

​

We encourage all parents and carers to check their eligibility and register if applicable, even if you have not previously qualified. Registering helps ensure your child receives the support they are entitled to.

​

Free School Meals are now divided into two categories: Targeted and Expanded.

​

  • Targeted: Your child will be entitled to both Free School Meals and additional Pupil Premium funding.

​

  • Expanded: Families in receipt of Universal Credit who do not meet the targeted criteria will still be eligible for Free School Meals. However, these children will not attract any additional funding beyond the meals themselves.

​
