ADVERSE WEATHER INFORMATION
The safety of our pupils, staff and families is our highest priority.
We will always make every effort to keep the school open during adverse weather conditions. However, there may be occasions when severe weather means it is not safe to open or remain open.
If the school needs to close or delay opening:
Parents and carers will be notified via Class Dojo.
Updates will be published on the school website as soon as possible.
Where appropriate, information may also be shared via the school's social media channels.
We will aim to make decisions as early as possible, although rapidly changing weather conditions may occasionally require a later decision.
When the school remains open:
Parents should make their own judgement about whether it is safe to travel from their location.
Children should wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather.
Please do not telephone the school to ask if we are open unless absolutely necessary, as this helps keep telephone lines free for emergency use. The latest information will always be available through our usual communication channels (Class Dojo)
